A new design for everything in the Hodinkee Shop
When I joined Hodinkee in 2021, all of our product detail pages (PDPs) were different, and they stayed that way for the majority of my time there. After yet another PDP design was released early in 2022 for Pre-Owned watches, I was determined to create a reusable template that every product could follow, that provided the best user experience across our site.
When every product uses the same template, it’s clear for shoppers to understand where to go when they’re looking for specific information about a watch, strap, book, or other accessories.
I focused on simplicity for our calls-to-action. Previously, all of the copy was different for each button, from “Get Updates,” “Add To Bag,” “Add To Cart,” “Pending Sale,” “Trade A Watch,” etc.
